AJESH in marines and fresh water ecosystems management

Conservation measures must be put in place to ensure the sustainability of our ecosystems. This is the consequence of the increased demand and use of marine resources and the sustainability limit of artisanal fisheries that capture juveniles and motherfish; And illegal, undeclared and unregulated (IUU) fishing, common with the industrial trawling that sweeps everything in its path. This is very destructive for local populations around marine ecosystems. The OECMs must be identified, recognized, secure, supported and reported to properly make the desired contribution to promote sustainable management and protection of the ocean across the local population by models that provide a framework for raising awareness and mobilizing their capacities to protect terrestrial and adjacent sailors. AJESH is on the ground in the Bakassi Peninsula for the identification of these potential sites of ecological interest that need special care.
